Day 3

On day 3, woke up at 530am then went to the cafeteria to use internet, chatted with dear for a few hrs, told her everything is fine over here, slowly getting used to the food and climate.

Sam, a Vietnamese guy from NTU and Stella, a Singaporean gal from SMU, offered to bring us out to downtown Main Street (where most of the shops are located). So after breakfast, all of us started to walk out towards the ferry terminal since its our free day anyway.

Took a lot of photos along the way, the scenery was breathtaking at times. All the houses are uniquely built and decorated.

Bicycle and horse carriage are the only forms of transport on the island. The cheapest bicycle rental cost about 5USD/hr. I have yet to check out the cost of riding on the horse carriage though.
